If it’s not possible to do in-person sessions, virtual sessions are a great option & offer more flexibility for scheduling. I use the zoom platform. At the time of your session, you will log-on & we will proceed therapy not unlike an in-person meeting. I recommend you try to create privacy for your sessions.

I do not accept insurance at this time. However, I can provide you with a “superbill” which can be submitted for reimbursement from your insurance depending on your plan.

In our first therapy session, you can expect a welcoming environment where we’ll begin to build rapport. I’ll introduce myself and share my approach to therapy.
I will gather information about your reasons for seeking therapy, any specific concerns you have, and your personal history. This includes exploring your relationships and current stressors.
Together, we’ll discuss what you hope to achieve through our work together and establish some initial goals. I’ll also explain how our sessions will work, covering important details like confidentiality, scheduling, and fees.
While there will be structure to our conversation, I encourage you to share what’s on your mind and ask any questions you may have. It’s normal to feel a mix of emotions during this initial meeting, and I’m here to support you as we begin this journey together.

The duration of therapy can vary widely based on your specific goals, the issues you’re facing, and your personal preferences.
In some cases, you might find that a few sessions (often 6-12) are sufficient to address specific concerns, such as coping strategies for a particular stressor or life transition.
For deeper, more complex issues, like chronic mental health concerns or unresolved trauma, therapy may last several months or even years.
Initially, I generally recommend we meet weekly, but as you progress, we can adjust the frequency to bi-weekly or monthly sessions, depending on your needs.
I’ll encourage you and us to regularly assess your progress and goals with me, as this will help determine how long you may want to continue. Ultimately, your timeline is unique, and I’m here to support you in finding a plan that works best for you.
